Indian Airforce Selection Procedure (OFFICERS)

1. NDA ENTRY

• Education qualification : 10+2 in Physics chemistry and math

• Age limit: 16.5 to 19.5 yrs on commencement on training

2. CDSE ENTRY

• Education qualification: Any Graduate/BE/B.Tech degree holder having passed physics and mathematics AT 10+2 LEVEL.

• Age limit: 20 to 24 years as on date of commencement of training (Additional 2 years relaxation is available for Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holders)

3. NCC ENTRY

Education qualification:

• Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level
  AND
  Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent OR
  BE/B Tech degree (four years course) from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR
  Candidates who have Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Age limit:
20 to 24 years on commencement on training.

AFCAT ENTRY

Flying Branch

Education qualification:
Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level
AND Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Age limit:
20 to 26 years on commencement on training

Education qualification:

Passed 10+2 AND Post Graduate Degree in any Science Stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geo-Physics/ Environmental Biology with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together. Provided Maths and Physics were studied at Graduation level with a minimum of 55% marks in each

Age limit:
20 to 26 years as on date of commencement of training

Executive officers

1.Surface warfare -
Education qualification: BE/B.tech

2.Hydrographer:
Education qualification: Min 60% in BE/B.tech

3.Pilot:
Education qualification: BE/B.tech with min 60% and 60% aggregate in 10th & 12th

4.Observer:
Education qualification: BE/B.tech with minimum 60% and 60% aggregate in 10th & 12th

5.Logistics:
Education qualification: BE/B.tech or MBA with 1st class or Bsc/Bcom/Bsc(T) with 1st class

6. NAIC:
Education qualification: B.E/B.tech with minimum 60 % and aggregate 60% in 10th & 12th

7.Information technology:
Education qualification: B.E/B.tech/M.tech/M.sc/Mca

8.ATC:
Education qualification: BE/B.tech with minimum 60% and aggregate 60% in 10th & 12th

1.Genral service:

Education qualification:

2. Navy architecture:

Education qualification: The candidates must possess at least 60% marks in BE/B. Tech Degree from recognised university in any one of the following stream:-

Medical

Permanent Commission (PC):

Education qualification: 1. Applicants must possess a medical qualification of an Indian University or a foreign medical qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India. They must also be registered with any of the state councils or equivalent registering authority.

2. Incentives An antedate of 3 years seniority for post graduates and 2 years for post graduate diploma recognized by MCI and 6 months for a house job, done at a recognized hospital to fresh entrants.

3. A doctor who has done a house job and also a post graduate qualification will be eligible for a maximum antedate seniority of 42 months.

Age limit: 45 Years

AFMC Cadet Entry (MBBS Course after which commission is granted in AMC)

Education qualification:
1. 10+2 with PCB securing not less than 60% of aggregate marks together and not less than 50% in any of these subjects.

2. B.Sc.Selection is held once a year through a written exam on all India basis followed by an Interview at Pune. Advertisement published in National / Regional newspaper in Jan every year.

Age limit:
